SUBJECT: CONSIDER AND ACTon a resolution amending the Master Fee Schedule


BACKGROUND:

The City's master fee schedule is included as an appendix to the City Code.  The fee schedule was last amended in December 2010.  A series of changes to the schedule is proposed via resolution on the May 1, 2012, City Council meeting agenda.

The resolution includes housekeeping changes, an increase in animal impoundment fees, addition of an inspection fee for private construction in the public right-of-way, modification of swimming pool party and swim lesson fees, and addition of a tree removal or damage penalty.

The proposed changes are summarized in the below table.

RECOMMENDATION:
City staff recommends approval of the resolution amending the City's fee schedule.  Staff will be available to answer questions or explain the proposed changes further.
