CONSIDER AND ACT: on an Ordinance Designating a 2-hour Parking Restriction Along the 3500 Block of McFarlin

BACKGROUND:
Staff received a request from the residents in the 3500 block of McFarlin to place a 2-hour parking restriction along the north curbline. Their request is for the restriction to be in effect Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays. Ten of the twelve residents (83%) abutting the street signed a petition in favor of the request.
The City attorney prepared the enabling ordinance for Council consideration.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends City Council approval of the ordinance designating a 2-hour parking restriction along the north curbline of the 3500 block of McFarlin.
